The effort to secure the annual allocation of $3 million for the State Lakes Protection and Restoration Fund is of critical important to ensure sustainability of the 16 state-owned and managed lakes in Maryland.
Those of us advocating for this bill are making history– all elected representatives and all major lake entities are working together with a unified message. This is really huge. And, provides hope that we can have positive outcome for Deep Creek Lake and the other lakes– if we are successful.
